The River Churn In Our Element is one of the first initiatives presenting a major collaborative opportunity to explore a river source of the Thames, embracing the ecologies of land, water and community, and addressing, in collaboration with scientists, issues of water management – one of the key issues of the 21st century.
During this process -Artist Jony Easterby spent a year exploring the river at different times, walking,swimming and floating along its length.This web site presents some of this research and aims to set out some possible outcomes for future work
